20080101BLUEBOOK95 (01/01/2008)
The Blue Book of Building and Construction has just mailed the 2008 edition of its regional directories, representing the company’s largest distribution in its 95-year history. Over 785,000 copies of The Blue Book will be delivered – free of charge – to qualified construction buyers nationwide beginning this January.

Since 1913, The Blue Book of Building and Construction has been bringing industry buyers and sellers together through its premier database of contractors, suppliers and manufacturers, as well as its newer online services, including BB-Bid, a free bid-management system, complete with a private online plan room.

The 2008 books will include dedicated, targeted coverage of the San Diego area, previously combined within the Orange County Blue Book, as well as a new tab format for The Pacific Northwest Blue Book, separating the Seattle and Portland editions. Both newly targeted editions are currently available for online searches at www.thebluebook.com.

“As our print and online usage continues to grow, The Blue Book is committed to continuously exploring new markets and opportunities to enhance our product offering,” explains Jeff Fandl, editor of The Blue Book. “Our success is clearly measured by how well we identify - and satisfy- the evolving needs of our users and customers,” he adds.
