Although the day began cold, gray and foggy the ABC office was bright, alive and energized with volunteers in action for our Membership Blitz Day. With cell phones in one hand and call sheets in the other, these dedicated members spent the morning working their way through a list of well over a hundred qualified prospects for membership.
To add some fun and encouragement to the task, a motivational game of Bingo, Bango, Bongo was employed where the first caller to sign a new member won a $25 Costco card, Bango was another Costco card of equal value to the volunteer who signed the a new member with the highest business volume, and Bango was a $50 Costco card who signed up the most new members.
After numerous cups of coffee, more than a few of Kate’s scones, and several hours of diligent calling; Bryan Taylor won Bingo, and Bill Kling won both Bango and Bongo. Well done guys!!
We would also like to thank the other volunteers that worked equally as hard to make the day a success and they were Bill Hyslop, Janelle Bertsch, Bill Traeger, Joe Gamon, and Dan Demchuck. But most importantly we would like to welcome our new members to IPC and they are: Lifeline Safety Consultants, Employers Resources Northwest, NEC Electrical Contractors and Cedar Street Electric.
