Eligibility Requirements
• Nominees must be currently employed by an ABC Western Michigan member firm in good standing.
• The nominees’ daily job duties must include use of tools and equipment and may include field supervision of trade craftspeople. Office, corporate, or management personnel not limited to but including project managers, engineers, sales representatives, estimators, or other non-field positions are ineligible.
• Nominees must currently possess a journey-level designation and be able to provide proof of their designation. In lieu of a Journeyman’s license, you may submit a signed letter from your company stating that your nominee is a Journeyman as described by your organization.
• Self-nominations are prohibited.

Congratulations 2022 Craft Professional of the Year: Jeff Hoeks

Jeff has worked in the trades since 1990, served as an Avionics Technician in the Marine Corps, and is known internally and externally as a master of low voltage. He is someone who combines a plethora of past experiences, solid problem-solving skills, and a dedication to quality that ensures success on a project. Jeff's patience, control and imagination combined with his affinity for security projects has earned him the nickname "The Door Doctor".
